Children at Services
Families with children are very welcome at CBST!
As our Chelsea location there is a play room set up with a carpet, toys and books, and a changing table in the Oneg Room, adjacent to the main sanctuary. There is also a designated "child-friendly" seating area at the front right side of the sanctuary, where we hope your family will make friends and be most comfortable. Ask an usher to direct you. Our Bethune Street location has a play room stocked with toys, books, a changing area and is prone to squeals of delight when the Shabbat dinosaur comes to visit!
We ask that everyone at services behave respectfully. It is especially important to maintain quiet in the sanctuary during the Shema , Amidah (silent prayer), and the drash (sermon), Please use the play room If you need it.
We want CBST's kids to grow up feeling at home in our congregation. With your help we can make this happen!
