Connie and Ruthie Scholar in Residence

Every year, we bring a scholar to CBST for a weekend on Shabbat to teach us and learn with us. This year, CBST's Scholar in Residence is Jay Michaelson, who will be joining us on March 16-17, 2012. Jay Michaelson is the founding director of Nehirim, a nonprofit organization which builds community for LGBT Jews.

Some of our past Scholars-in-residence include Professor Joy Ladin, Rabbi Simkah Weintraub, Professor Nelson Vieria, Rabbi Steven Greenberg. and Rabbi Rebecca Alpert.
